The Eric-Hoffman-Scholarship continued ....

In 1987, Eric established Activation Laboratories Ltd. (Actlabs) Group of Companies with a focus on commercializing innovative technologies with the highest quality standards for the minerals, metallurgy, petroleum, life sciences, environmental, forensics, material testing and agricultural industries.

He achieved global success by growing Actlabs into 27 laboratories in 12 countries. In 2014, Actlabs opened a new 200,000 square foot global headquarters in Ancaster, Ontario. Eric was a long-time member of the Canadian Mineral Analysts (CMA), a regular attendee at the annual CMA Conference, and an active participant at the annual CMA business meetings.

Eric Hoffman passed away on July 10, 2015.
